Welcome to the Eucharistic Ministers ministry! This ministry is made up of lay parishioners who would like to help the Priest distribute the Precious Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion.

While the name "minister of the Eucharist" or "ordinary minister" belongs properly to the Priest alone, an acolyte or another member of the Christian faithful, officially known as an "Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion" or "Lay Eucharistic Minister",  serve to distribute Holy Communion. Extraordinary Ministers serve in either the parish during Mass or visit the homebound to give Holy Communion.

This ministry requires special training provided by the pastor and the ministry head.
